The Basics To start, we will look at how to open and close Excel. We will also examine the new interface, focusing on the ribbons. Participants will also learn how to create a spreadsheet and workbook.
Working with Data Next, participants will learn the basics of working with a spreadsheet: how to add, move, and delete rows and columns; how to merge and split cells; how to hide and unhide cells; how to use Find and Replace; and how to use Paste Special.
Basic Excel Tools During this module, participants will learn how to use basic functions, AutoFill, AutoComplete, spell check, sort, and filter.
Basic Formatting Tools This module will teach participants how to format text, numbers, and cells.
Advanced Formatting Tools Next, participants will learn some other ways of formatting their data, including borders, fills, styles, and conditional formatting.
Advanced Spreadsheet Elements Now that participants are familiar with the basic elements of a spreadsheet, we will look at some additional things that they can add, including pictures, SmartArt, Pivot Tables, shapes, and charts.
Viewing and Printing To conclude the course, participants will learn about Excel's viewing tools. Participants will also learn how to set up and print their spreadsheet.
